Jesse looks Juicy in the County Hurdle

Ray Flanagan looks to finish the Cheltenham in style and opts for five selections

Recommended Bets

1 pt ew-Jesse Evans-2.10 Cheltenham-22-1 SkyBet- 8 places (the forgotten horse in a way, given that he started favourite for the Greatwood Hurdle last November. I like West Cork and Colonel Mustard at the top of the market , but this lad was placed in a Galway Hurdle, will be suited by the drying ground and rates a value outsider)

2 pts win- A Plus Tard- 3.30 Cheltenham-3-1 General (Mighty effort in the Gold Cup twelve months ago and can go one place better. Slight stamina doubts but I dont think quite enough to put me off and I think his class will just get him home)

1 pt win- Galvin-3.30 Cheltenham-4-1 General (If A Plus Tard gets outstayed the one most likely is Galvin. The drying ground is a plus for this lad and must warrant a saver.)

1.5 pts ew- Five O Clock- 5.30 Cheltenham-12-1 William Hill- 5 places (Quietly touted sort who finished a staying on seventh in the race two years ago. Has not appeared since but that is not a concern coming from the Mullins quarters. Bit of a wild one but morning support is encouraging and is the type of under the radar contender who could have a few pounds in hand.)

2.5 pts win Langer Dan- 5.30 Cheltenham- 6-1 (I also cannot let Langer Dan go unbacked especially given his drift to a very fair 6-1. Ran a terrific race last year where bumped into the brilliant Galopin Des Champs. Off a similar mark could easily win if turning up in the same form this time around)

Happy Punting.
